Capsicum Poriyal

Ingredients
Capsicum(green peppers, simla mirchi) - 4 ( finely chopped)
Green Chillies (pachi mirapa kaya)- 3(finely chopped)
Curd(perugu) - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Coriander(kothimeera) - For garnishing
Salt - According to taste
For tempering
Oil- 2 tbsp
Cumin Seeds(jeera,jeelakarra) - 1tsp
Mustard Seeds(aavalu, rai) - tsp
Bengal gram(minapa pappu, urad dal) - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves(karivepaaku) - 8 - 10
Asafeotida(inguva, hing)- a pinch
Garam masala - 1 tsp

Procedure
Mix the chopped green peppers and the curd in a bowl and set it aside for 10 mins.

Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafeotida. Then add bengal gram, green chillies and the curry leaves. Stir for 20-30 seconds. Now add the curd and peppers mixture to it. Add water and garam masala and cover with a lid. Simmer until the peppers become tender. Add salt and coriander and serve. Sweet pepper poriyal ready
