Bread Uttapam Recipe

Ingredients:
4 eggs, beaten
8 slices of bread
1\2 cup milk
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
Few coriander leaves, finely chopped
Small piece ginger, finely chopped
1 1\2 tsps salt
1 tsp chilli powder
Oil for frying

Method:

1. Dip slices of bread in water and squeeze out excess water.

2. Add it to beaten eggs. Add milk, chilli powder and salt, beat to a smooth consistency batter. Mix well.

3. Heat pan on medium flame. Smear 2 tsps of oil on the pan. Pour batter to make uttapams. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of finely chopped ingredients on the uttapam. Turn over when underside is brown.

Serve hot with sauce\lemon pickle\mint or coconut chutney.
