Ingredients:
* 1 large can (28 ounces) pork and beans
* 1 can (approx 15 ounces) great northern beans, drained, rinsed
* 1 can (approx 15 ounces) black beans, drained, rinsed
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1 green or red bell pepper, chopped
* 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons maple syrup or molasses
* 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 tablespoon chili powder
* 1 package (about 8) hot dogs
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except hot dogs in a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker. Cut hot dogs into 1 to 2-inch lengths and stir into the bean mixture. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
